For copyright reasons the context menu and direct text copying/printing are disabled. Click here for more information. Press your F11-key for a full screen view!.
In this site, your right mouse button with its context menu for copying images and also the text select/printing function won't work as far as published texts are involved. This is to protect copyrights. However, you will be able to print pictures in the non-text protected areas for your personal use. For further use of pictures and texts please contact the webmaster at harm.botje@chello.nl
This site is based on a 1024x768 resolution. The films and several of the slide shows might take some time to download, depending on your connection and your Random Access Memory, RAM. Your RAM should at least be 1 GB or more and the faster your connection, the better.
The site will run well on several browsers, Firefox for instance, but when you use Windows, Internet Explorer will give you the best viewing results. This has a very simple reason. This site uses Dynamic HTML, developed for IE and which is best and sometimes only seen in IE. If the DHTML used is peculiar to IE, alternatives were written for other browsers. This means that you will see differences in the way pictures are shown in IE and those other browsers, though the content is the same.
WARNING: You are most strongly advised to use your F11 function key, which in Windows toggles the full screen mode, so NO scrollbars, except for the menu!!! Do try it: this site needs an uncluttered, full screen view!!! In Internet Explorer the status bar stays unless you remove it manually, click Extra and then toolbars. In Firefox the statusbar disappears automatically.
Comments are welcome but will not necessarily get a reply. The same holds true for the Guestbook. Bierenbroodspot reads it regularly when at friends, but she is very busy, travels a lot and is an absolute a-digibete. She knows that something like email exists but never got the knack of it and is quite amazed the rest of the world does. So do give her your appraisals or criticisms, don't expect an answer but be sure she smiles or frowns, as the case might be.
